TERESA ALVES DA SILVA and ANDRÉ CABRAL

Born in 1977, Teresa has graduated in Contemporary Dance at the Setúbal Academy. She was the main dancer of CeDeCe, Ballet Gulbenkian and Atterbaletto Company. Some of the most important names that have built her artistic journey are Mats Ek (Solo for Two), Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Angelin Preljocaj, Didy Veldman, Olga Roriz, Mauro Bigonzetti, Stijn Celis, Rui Horta, Itzik Galili, Jan Kodet , Paulo Ribeiro, Rodrigo Pederneiras, Vera Mantero, Miguel Moreira and Sylvia Rijmer.

Along with André Mesquita, she founded TOK’ART – a creative platform, where she acts as a dancer and artistic director.Since 2012 she has been working with Rui Horta, Paulo Ribeiro, Victor Hugo Pontes and André Mesquita.

Critics describe Teresa’s work as a poetic, sensitive reference and a specialized technical precision.

Born in 1990, André Cabral is a versatile Hip Hop and Contemporary dancer. He is a Jukebox Project member, working with the artistic director Vasco Alves, he is a dancer and singer in the musical project Da Chick, alongside his twin brother, Gonçalo Cabral. He was also a dancer in the television series “Morangos com Açúcar”, series VII and VIII. He was involved in some commercial work as a dancer for TAP, Endemol, Optimus, Opel, Millennium, among others.

In 2009 he was the New Talent Award winner in the Hip-Hop category at the 2009 Portugal Dance Awards. In 2010 he was the World Team Battle winner in the Funkin ‘Stylez Paris 2010 winner, qualifying for the final in Dusseldörf. He was also the winner of the qualifying Battle in the Newstyle 2vs2 Hip-Hop category for Eurobattle 2011.
